The Mission
The Mission of Operation M'Brace is to bring every member of the United States Military under the intercessory prayer of concerned Christians.
“Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends.” John 15:13
Our military members and their families face incredible physical, emotional, and spiritual challenges. Having taken a solemn oath of service, our Soldiers, Sailors, Marines, Airmen, and Coast Guardsmen risk their lives daily to protect our nation’s interests and principles. They must contend with lengthy separations from their families and loved ones often with only hours prior notice. In some areas of the world, our deployed military are severely restricted in how they practice their Christian faith magnifying the burden they already shoulder. How should we respond as Christians? God commands us to respond in love. Love…always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails… 1 Corinthians 13:12 Love can be shown in many ways to include directly addressing those physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of our military members. It can also be shown through prayer. Through the power of prayer we can seek God’s guidance in how we can respond as well as lift up specific individuals. In many instances, prayer will be the most powerful response to the individual needs of our military members. “…in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.” Philippians 4:6
Operation M'Brace seeks to link at least one praying Christian with one specific military person, whose name is engraved on a metal bracelet. The bracelet is to be worn by the intercessor as a reminder to pray for that service member throughout each and every day.
The Operation M'Brace ministry hopes to eventually embrace every U.S. military member in constant prayer. Thank you for participating and sharing our vision with others.
